Wish to meet my cricket idol Shahid khan Afridi

Cricket is the most played, watched, and admired sport in Pakistan. No other sport can match the passion of the people towards the game. When we talk of celebrity cricketers, Shahid Afridi’s name pops up in one’s mind immediately. Lovingly called as Boom Boom, the former captain is an all-rounder, he bowled leg spin and is recognized for his aggressive batting. Young Muddasir Ali has been crazy about cricket. Playing cricket was his dream. Sadly, he fell prey to the life-threatening disease – Tetralogy of Fallout. He couldn’t play cricket on a professional level but he wished to meet his favourite cricketer –Mr Shahid Afridi.
Make-A-Wish Pakistan has always been instrumental in granting the little angels their wishes. A meeting was arranged between Mudassir and Shahid Afridi by Make-A-Wish team. Muddasir was super excited when he met his idol. They had good conversation in a relaxed environment. On top of that, he played cricket in the Moin Khan Ground, Karachi, with Shahid Afridi, and took his signature on the bat. Muddasir, despite his illness, considered himself lucky to meet Shahid Afridi in person. We wish Muddasir a good life ahead.
