Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is my favourite singer

“Music is my passion, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is my favourite singer. I listen to him for hours; his songs console me and give me strength to fight my awful disease,” elucidated 15-year-old Waqas Khan, suffering from Tetralogy of Fallot.

Waqas expressed his wish to meet Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to Make-A-Wish team. And they took him to an exclusive concert of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Waqas was made to sit in the front row and he was enthralled to listen to the maestro live. Then Waqas was called on the stage to meet his favourite singer. He not only shook hands with Rahat but also got a chance to sing with him; tears sprang into Waqas’s eyes with happiness as he sang along to ‘O re piya’.

According to Waqas, it was truly an emotional moment and he thanked Make-A-Wish team for fulfilling his wish.
